Journal Impact Forecast is an independent and unofficial service.

It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Clarivate, any publisher, any journal, or any other third party identified on the Service.

2. Forecasts and estimates

Forecast Impact Scores, Current Impact Scores, Forecast Signals, rankings, trends, and related information are independent estimates based on publicly available bibliographic, citation, journal, and publisher information.

They are not official metrics and are not the Journal Impact Factor, JIF, Journal Citation Reports, or any other official journal evaluation.

The calculation methods, models, and underlying data may not be published in full.

3. No guarantee of accuracy or results

We seek to provide useful information, but we do not guarantee that any score, forecast, ranking, trend, or other information is complete, current, error-free, or accurate.

We do not guarantee:

  • future official journal metrics;
  • acceptance, rejection, or publication of a manuscript;
  • citation counts;
  • journal performance;
  • research assessment;
  • funding, employment, promotion, or career outcomes; or

Any retrospective validation or past agreement with subsequently released official metrics does not guarantee future accuracy.

Article Processing Charge (“APC”) information is indicative and may not be current.

Displayed APC amounts may not reflect:

  • waivers or discounts;
  • taxes;
  • regional pricing;
  • institutional agreements;
  • society membership;
  • article type;
  • currency changes; or
  • recent publisher updates.

We do not guarantee a particular APC update frequency. Before submitting a manuscript or making a payment decision, confirm the current price and conditions on the publisher’s official website.
